SHIPPING, RETURNS, & EXCHANGES INFORMATION

GIFT SUBSCRIPTIONS: The ship to address you entered during the ordering process is the ONLY address we mail the subscription to.  The addresses listed below on the receipt are for administrative purposes only.  

 

ALL ORDERS: Please check your SHIPPING address.  If you used Paypal for this order, your address may be inaccurate. Paypal often has old addresses. 

 

FOLKLIFE GOODS: Most orders will ship in 3-5 business days in Canada, and 7-10 business days (International). All non subscription items ship from the FOLKLIFE warehouse on Gabriola Island, BC.  Standard shipping rates and delivery times apply. 

 

RETURNS: FOLKLIFE Magazine in digital and print, as well as the FOLKLIFE launch event ticket is non-returnable. All other goods are returnable. Proof of purchase required for all returns.  Returns accepted within 30 days of shipment. 

 

Where do I send returns? Email info@folklifemag.ca to find out. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

For exchanges in advance of product return, we will require payment for the new product and shipping (if applicable).

 

You will be credited for the returned merchandise within 5 days of its arrival at our warehouse. Please be aware that it can take 1-3 days for the credit to post to your account.

If you are shipping items over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

REFUNDS: Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If your return is approved, then your refund will be processed.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING DISCLAIMER: The recipient is the importer of record and as such is responsible for assuring the product(s) they purchased can be lawfully imported to the destination country and must comply with all laws and regulations of said country. The customer is also responsible for payment of all levied sales tax, duties and customs charges, which are determined and enforced by local governments and vary by country. Duties, taxes and/or customs fees are an additional amount collected upon delivery of your order and we are unable to provide you with an estimate of those fees. Please contact your local government for specific details. Your order confirmation details only the amount collected by FOLKLIFE. By completing your order you agree to pay all applicable fees. If you refuse or return your order, no international shipping charges or fees paid to local governments will be refunded. We will refund the original purchase price of the product if the returned/refused goods arrive back to our address in original condition.
